A-DICTIONARY LEARNING GUIDES

Choose your next step.

Build a personal word collection, put a daily word on your phone or practise grammar. Each guide explains a specific way to learn with A-Dictionary.

A-DICTIONARY · PERSONAL VOCABULARY

Your words. Your vocabulary app.

A-Dictionary turns words you save from books, conversations and work into personalized vocabulary practice. Short exercises and spaced review adapt to your answers, helping you return to words that need more attention.

How personalized vocabulary practice works

A few things to know.

What is A-Dictionary?
A-Dictionary is a personal vocabulary app for language learners. You save words and translations, then practise them with flashcards, typing exercises, AI-generated stories and adaptive review.
Can I learn words from my own reading?
Yes. Save unfamiliar words from a book, article or conversation in your own dictionary. You can return to the collection for practice and use AI stories to see those words in new contexts.
Can I put my vocabulary on my phone screen?
The Word of the Day widget displays a word supplied by your A-Dictionary collection. It works on iPhone and Android Home Screens and the iPhone Lock Screen. Android Lock Screen support depends on the device and system.

A NOTE FROM ENG–RUS

The next chapter
is about your words.

ENG–RUS began as a translation agency in 2001. The agency has closed. Today, our language project is A-Dictionary: an app for collecting and practising your own vocabulary. These guides connect that work with the translation articles we have kept in our archive.

We no longer accept translation orders.
